Membership Agreement & Privacy Notice
Please read the text below before joining Türkiye Gezi Rehberi.
1. Membership Agreement
This Membership Agreement ("Agreement") takes effect between the Türkiye Gezi Rehberi platform ("Platform") and the individual who registers as a member ("Member") once the Member confirms the registration form, and remains in effect for as long as the Member uses the Platform.
The Platform offers subscription packages of different scope and duration — Free, Gezgin, and Kaşif; each package's content, duration, and price (if any) is published on the Packages page, and the Platform reserves the right to change these terms with prior notice.
Payment for paid packages is collected in advance for the selected package period; subscriptions do not renew automatically at the end of the term — the Member may purchase a new package at any time or move to the Free package.
The Member confirms that the information provided at registration is accurate and up to date, that account credentials (especially the password) will not be shared with third parties, and that the Member is responsible for all activity carried out through the account.
Route content, map itineraries, images, and e-brochures published on the Platform belong to the Platform or its content providers; the Member may view this content for personal travel purposes only and may not reproduce it without permission or use it commercially.
The Platform is not liable for temporary service interruptions due to technical maintenance, security measures, or force majeure; the Member acknowledges that the Platform may suspend or terminate the membership in case of a breach of this Agreement.
2. Privacy Notice (KVKK)
Data Controller: Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), Türkiye Gezi Rehberi acts as the data controller operating the Platform and processes your personal data as described below.
Personal Data Processed: The full name, email address, phone number, and gender you share at registration, together with your usage preferences and activity records on the Platform (favorite routes, language preference, subscription package, etc.).
Purposes of Processing: Your personal data is processed to create and manage your membership account, provide subscription packages, respond to your requests and complaints, improve service quality, and fulfill legal obligations.
Legal Basis & Transfer: Data is processed on the basis of "establishment and performance of a contract" and "fulfillment of a legal obligation" under Article 5 of the KVKK; it is not shared with third parties without your explicit consent, other than the hosting and infrastructure providers we work with.
Retention Period: Your personal data is retained for as long as your membership continues and for the statutory limitation periods required by applicable law, after which it is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
Your Rights: Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, request information about it, request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, request its deletion or destruction, and request that these actions be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred. You may submit requests via the Contact & Support form on the Platform.
